LOSS OF ADHESION BETWEEN BASECOAT AND PRIMER
Flaking of basecoat as a result of loss of adhesion between the basecoat and primer.

Causes
- sanding the primer with too fine sandpaper,
- wrong viscosity of basecoat, too high spraying pressure,
- the use of poor quality thinners.
Prevention
- use correct grade of abrasive papers during treatment of primers,
- apply appropriate materials in accordance with the technology recommended by the manufacturer.
Repair
Sand and apply coat again.
