CRACKING
Scratches and cracks in the coating with different lengths and depths.
Causes
- mistakes made while coating on thermoplastic substrates (applying coat directly on thermoplastic primer of polyester putty),
- the layer of renovation coat had not cured enough (too small amount of hardener or missing),
- extreme temperature fluctuations,
- too short times of evaporation during the coating with „wet on wet” method.
Prevention
- apply appropriate materials in accordance with the technology recommended by the manufacturer.
Repair
Sand and apply coat again.
