GASSING
Creating gas bubbles on the surface of the applied basecoat resulting from thinner closure in the applied coat film.
Causes
- too thick a coating,
- too high viscosity of sprayed basecoat,
- too low spraying pressure,
- too short drying times between the individual spraying passes,
- too short drying time before heating or too high temperature of heating.
Prevention
- follow technical instructions.
Repair
Sand and apply coat again.
