UNDER 385

SPECTRAL UNDER 385 is a two-component epoxy anti-corrosion primer with isolating properties, designed for professional substrate preparation in automotive refinish repairs. Thanks to its very good anti-corrosion performance and excellent isolation, it effectively protects the substrate and creates a stable foundation for subsequent coating steps.

The product can also be applied in a wet-on-wet process, which helps streamline repair work and shorten preparation time. With one coat, polyester filler can be applied after approx. 30 min / 20°C, subsequent system layers after approx. 15-20 min / 20°C, and sanding is possible after approx. 3 h / 20°C or 45 min / 60°C. The possibility of applying subsequent layers within 12 hours without sanding further improves workflow efficiency.

UNDER 385 also offers excellent adhesion to most plastics when used with SPECTRAL PLAST 825, which broadens its use in repairs involving modern body components. The combination of anti-corrosion protection, isolating performance and process flexibility makes it a reliable solution for both spot repairs and more extensive refinishing jobs.
