SPECTRAL WAVE 2.0: an innovative water-based coating system

SPECTRAL WAVE 2.0 is a system made with the most advanced water-soluble dispersions and the latest pigments.

The system allows the production of tens of thousands of colour recipes available through the N-color software, plus an infinite number of custom combinations.

SPECTRAL WAVE 2.0 requires no mixing machines. The high stability of its component has eliminated the need for large, unwieldy and expensive colour mixing equipment. It is replaced by a small, handy rack which you can easily fit on the floor at your shop. The system components only need hand stirring by vigorous shaking directly before use.

Demonstrations and implementations are done directly at the your location without disrupting the body and paint repair workflow. You can enjoy individual technical and colour consulting and support, along with professional training programs at the NOVOL Training Centre.

The system features a very high hiding power, enhanced further by a system of spectral grey primers. Thanks to high quality resins and pigments, NOVOL has developed products that boast superior technical performance: short drying times, good adhesion to substrates, perfect flopping and ideal colour matching.

This makes refinishing very easy, with considerable reduction of the processing time and material consumption. The sheer number of available pigments helps create even the most demanding combinations of solid, metallic and pearl colours, both in two and three layer options.

The pigments are sold in bottles with disposable closures for precise dosing of components. 1.0L, 0.5L and 0.1L bottles are available.

The basecoat is prepared with the thinner volume according to specific colour recipes and specified in the N-color software which supports the NOVOL SPECTRAL technologies.
