SCUFF PADS

Abrasive fleece designed for manual surface preparation. Available in three grades: 320, 360 and 800, allowing the right variant to be selected for each stage of preparation and for different substrate types.

The product is ideal for rust removal, degreasing and matting/scuffing contoured surfaces, edges and profiled areas. Thanks to its three-dimensional non-woven structure, it provides consistent performance across the entire surface, including hard-to-reach areas, without changing the geometry of the part. It makes surface preparation faster and easier.

Available variants

Green 320 (General Purpose)

For initial preparation work and more aggressive surface scuffing.

• fast, aggressive surface scuffing, e.g. before polyester body filler application

Red 360 (Very Fine)

For surface scuffing prior to primer application and for preparing new panels and plastic parts.

Applications:

• scuffing before primer application
• scuffing new e-coated panels
• preparing large surfaces for primer application, e.g. hood and trunk lid
• preparing plastic parts, e.g. bumpers and spoilers
• removing grease, oil and rust from engine components and other mechanical parts
• wheel cleaning

Grey 800 (Ultra Fine)

For precise scuffing of primer and paint and for preparing surfaces before topcoat application.

Applications:

• can be used with NOVOL Scuff & Matt matting paste or with a waterborne cleaner
• primer scuffing
