NOVOL Marine Coatings technology for boats and yachts. Layer by layer.

NOVOL Marine Coatings technology for boats and yachts is a complete, compatible coating system covering every stage of the coating process. From substrate preparation and protection, through surface levelling and colour application, to a durable finish resistant to demanding Marine conditions.

Each layer of the NOVOL Marine Coatings system performs a specific function and prepares the surface for the next stage. The result is high adhesion, protection against corrosion and osmosis, resistance to UV radiation, and a durable, high-quality finish for boats and yachts.

One technology. Every layer matters.

Clear system. Proven technology.

The durability of a coating system does not depend solely on the final layer. It is the result of the entire system working together. That is why NOVOL Marine Coatings technology has been designed as a logical process in which each product is responsible for a specific stage and prepares the surface for the application of the next layer.

From adhesion to the substrate, through levelling and protection, to colour and the final high-gloss or satin-matt finish. The individual NMC layers form a compatible coating system, helping to achieve high durability, resistance and repeatability throughout the coating process.

DeepShield 630 – Epoksydowy podkład gruntujący

DeepShield 630 – Epoxy Primer

Adhesion starts the entire process

The first task of the coating system is to create the correct bond between the substrate and the subsequent layers.

DeepShield 630 is a fast-drying epoxy primer designed primarily for aluminium surfaces. It acts as an adhesion promoter, seals the surface and creates the correct base for the subsequent stages of the NMC coating system.

Wet-on-wet application helps streamline the process, while its filling properties help eliminate minor scratches and pinholes.

Key function:
Adhesion • substrate preparation • base for subsequent layers

NOVOL Marine Coatings Epoxy Putty – Szpachla epoksydowa

Epoxy Putty – Epoxy Putty

Shape starts with the surface

The next stage allows surface defects to be filled and the correct profile to be created before the subsequent coating stages.

Epoxy Putty is a two-component epoxy putty developed for Marine applications. It enables the filling of surface defects as well as surface shaping and levelling, preparing the substrate for the application of subsequent layers of the NMC system.

Key function:
Filling defects • shaping • surface levelling

NOVOL Marine Coatings MaxBuilt 631 HB – Epoksydowy podkład wypełniający

MaxBuilt 631 HB – High-Build Epoxy Primer

Levelling and protection in one layer

A properly prepared surface requires both the correct profile and effective protection.

MaxBuilt 631 HB provides high filling capacity and allows multiple coats to be applied, helping to achieve a suitably level surface before the subsequent coating stages.

At the same time, it forms a protective barrier against osmosis and corrosion. Easy sanding helps streamline surface preparation prior to the application of the colour coat.

Key function:
Filling • levelling • protection against osmosis and corrosion

NOVOL Marine Coatings Basecoat 2K – Dwuskładnikowy lakier bazowy

Basecoat 2K – Two-Component Basecoat

Colour as an integral part of the technology

Colour defines the character of the vessel, but within the NMC system it also performs a technical function.

Basecoat 2K is a two-component basecoat developed specifically for Marine applications. Its 2K curing formulation increases the resistance of the basecoat layer to UV radiation and weathering.

As a result, colour becomes an integral part of the system, combining design possibilities with the durability of the entire coating system.

Key function:
Colour • design • resistance to UV radiation and weathering

Final layer. Two distinctive finishes.

The final stage of the NMC system protects the basecoat and determines the final appearance of the surface. Depending on the desired effect, the system offers a choice between a high-gloss or satin-matt finish.

Clearcoat HG/SM 755 – High Gloss/Satin Matt Anti-Scratch

Clearcoat that stands the test of time.

A two-component clearcoat providing excellent colour depth and a high-gloss finish or satin matt (with matting additive). Enhanced resistance to scratching, UV radiation and environmental exposure helps maintain the surface appearance throughout long-term service.

Finish:

  • High Gloss
  • Satin Matt

Key function:
Protection • scratch resistance • colour depth • high gloss or satin matt
