Choose the right substrate color
before applying COBRA Truck Bedliner!
➜ The optimal substrate color is easiest to achieve by applying a primer layer (available in sanding or wet-on-wet variants). Primers are typically available in basic colors: white, gray, and black.
➜ It is crucial to ensure that the substrate color, achieved using the primer, is uniform across all painted elements. A consistent substrate color ensures the correct shade and significantly reduces COBRA Truck Bedliner consumption.
➜ This is especially important for colors with lower opacity, such as yellow, red, orange, and green (for these colors, a white or light gray primer is recommended).
ACHIEVING TEXTURED EFFECTS:
➜ Different textures—coarse, medium, or fine—can be achieved by adjusting the dilution of COBRA Truck Bedliner (or leaving it undiluted), selecting the appropriate spray gun and nozzle, and setting the application parameters (pressure and distance).
