FILLING: ORIGINAL BODY CONTOUR SCULPTING

BLUE LIGHT

Multifunctional polyester filler

Technical data sheet

Safety data sheet

A polyester filler with a specially formulated selection of lightweight fillers and resin that provides great processing ease for simple sculpting of bodywork parts. If applied to large work areas in large mixed batches, it is critical to thoroughly mix the polyester resins with the hardener. If not, then the decorative paint coat might become discoloured and require refinishing. Blue Light features the unique Mixing Indicator technology, which shows the polymerisation ratio.
Mixing Indicator is a visual reference for your assessment of how thoroughly the filler is mixed with the hardener to avoid component mixing ratio errors. The filler is originally blue, but when mixed with the hardener the colour shifts to grey and then, when polymerisation ends, the final colour is light beige. It is natural for polyester fillers to exhibit sedimentation coupled with surfacing of a part of the resin and the dye. It is perfectly normal and common for this type of product. It is always necessary to homogenize the product by stirring it in the container before mixing with the hardener.

PROPERTIES
  • - Very easy rough and finish processing
  • - Perfect for sculpting shapes on large work areas
  • - Mixing Indicator technology ensures perfect mixing of the components
  • - A creamy texture for easy application
  • - Very low volumetric shrinkage thanks to spherical fillers

ELASTIC FIBER

Structural body filler with glass fibres

Technical data sheet

Safety data sheet

A structural body filler with glass fibres, featuring improved elasticity, complete with Mixing Indicator for colour-shift based polymerisation ratio control. For large deformation of workpiece surfaces, the dedicated Elastic Fiber filler is recommended with its very short glass fibres that build the right support for the next layers.
Mixing Indicator is a visual reference for your assessment of how thoroughly the filler is mixed with the hardener to avoid component mixing ratio errors. The filler is originally light green, then when mixed with the hardener the colour shifts to grey/green and, when polymerisation ends, the final colour is light yellow/beige. It is natural for polyester fillers to exhibit sedimentation coupled with surfacing of a part of the resin and the dye. It is perfectly normal and common for this type of product. It is always necessary to homogenize the product by stirring it in the container before mixing with the hardener.

PROPERTIES
  • - A stable foundation layer for filling surface irregularities left by metal panel shaping
  • - Very easy to apply on large work areas
  • - Very low volumetric shrinkage thanks to the glass fibres
  • - The safe Mixing Indicator technology ensures perfect mixing of the components: the filler changes the colour from light green to light beige when it is ready for sanding
  • - Safe to apply in thick layers (2-3 mm), thanks to the elastic resin

ALUMINIUM

Aluminium dust filler

Technical data sheet

Safety data sheet

This filler is intended for sculpting the profiles of workpieces highly exposed to heat, such as engine bonnets, body roofs, or the top surfaces of fenders. The aluminium dust content is carefully selected for the highest heat transfer to perform as expected.
It is natural for polyester fillers to exhibit sedimentation coupled with surfacing of a part of the resin and the dye. It is perfectly normal and common for this type of product. It is always necessary to homogenize the product by stirring it in the container before mixing with the hardener.

PROPERTIES
  • - Perfectly easy application on large work areas (engine bonnets, roof panels, etc.)
  • - The aluminium content ensures very good heat removal performance
  • - Very low volumetric shrinkage thanks to the aluminium dust
  • - Structural performance for successful filling of large irregularities
  • - A dark grey metallic shade
